Double Exposure Blackjack - Blackjack Rules

Double Exposure Blackjack is the next game we shall be covering and the game can be found over at Royal Vegas Casino should you like what you read and be wishing to try it out.

The game plays differently from most other Blackjack variants so below you will find a complete list of rules pertaining to the game.

On the right hand side of this webpage is the strategy card which can be used, this card shows you the correct moves to make when faced with any Dealers Hard hands.

To begin with the main difference is that both of the Dealers card are dealt face up this means you can clearly see what the Dealer is holding.

The Double Exposure Blackjack game is played using 8 complete decks of playing cards.

The Dealer must always Hit his hand if he has a Soft 17

Now if both you and the Dealer get a tied hand then it is not classed as a Push but as a Dealer win, unless you have a tied Blackjack.

If you get a Blackjack it will payout at Even money (1-1), however should you and the Dealer both be holding a Blackjack then the Players hand will win.

If you have been dealt either a 9 a 10 or an 11 then you may, should you want, Double Down.

Splitting hands is allowed and below we shall take a quick look at the rules about Splitting

If you have Split a hand then you are allowed to Double Down after the Split has taken place.

You can Split a hand upto 3 times and by doing this you could be playing with a maximum of 4 separate hands

If you get dealt a pair of Aces then you are permitted to Split them

Split Aces can also be re-split but only one card will be dealt to Aces that have been Split.

A Split Ace and a Ten card equals 21 and not a Blackjack

Playing Double Exposure Blackjack is great fun, especially when you know what cards the Dealer is holding, and you can play this game for free or for real money at The Gaming Club.
